OK, so the things I should be doing sometimes get superceeded by my need to be creative and the need to wish my littlest nephew a happy birthday… (particularly as I haven’t bought him his present yet…(oh, the shame)).
Big kisses gorgeous, see you at Christmastime!
Love Aunty D
And me? Well… I could never resist a challenge… Thanks Ali – this was fun!

Catching My Breath
I’m on the treadmill… I’m down from 170 emails to 47 (in only 3 days – yeah) … this is v good… but have to wait till I get to zero to feel completely relaxed…
Truth is, that ain’t never going to happen… Was only home 24 hours when a client offered me a rush web job… Dev only (phew) and it’s such a rush one I don’t even have the time to do it all in css… (I so need CS2)… anyway… this is all burble… just enough info to let you know, I haven’t posted about America yet… but I have got the pix up at flickr…
Check them out here, let’s face it, I may be a girl and all, but it really is easier to only do one thing at a time…
In The Pink

Both me and my blog have a cancer history (above), specifically a Breast Cancer History, and in honour of that history and the incredible women in my family who have been touched by this scourge I’m, well… In the Pink for the rest of October…
It’s somewhat appropriate really. My mum is the next Singular woman to get a diagnosis and a date with a masectomy. Heck, she may even make hers a double.
Bloody Hell – have you or your girls been checked?
Southern Comfort
Here I am, in Asheville NC, (wishing like mad I could post my photos… but I’m not on the laptop, I’m on a borrowed Mac …mmmmm Mac) listening to the soundtrack of tomorrow’s wedding being rehearsed by the band upstairs.
I’m loving Asheville, Ash and I took to each other as you might have expected after a 5 year e-friendship. Right where we left off talking long into the night about life, the universe and everything. We’ve been from Asheville to Greensboro for a work conference (bonus… tax deductible) and surprised the guys from work who had no idea I’d be there! That was cool, the conference was excellent and now the hours are ticking away toward the big moment tomorrow at 3pm!
I spent the day at Biltmore House, being a tourist with a couple of the other guests from out of town and had a wonderful time checking out this amazing place. It’s a palace! Even now, a hundred years later it is still the biggest privately owned home in the US.
I’ve been out on the Blue Ridge Parkway perhaps a little early for the most glorious of ‘fall’ colour but I’ll post some photos when I’m somewhere that’s internet friendly. It sure looks as though it will be glorious in a few weeks… wish I was staying longer!!
And tomorrow, when the wedding is over I’ll be hanging with a new friend ‘Parker’ and after church on Sunday will be back to the airport for the cross country trip to San Francisco CA.
This trip is going way fast, I’m loving it, but it will be a bit of a wrench leaving Ash and MacDougal as they head off on their honeymoon tomorrow evening. I tear up about it even now… but Sunday’s another day, and next week another new adventure. Looking forward to some quality time with My Pressshus. Will post the results on flickr too… Possibly not till next week…
Anyway, I’ve got a ramble going on so will sign off. Am a bit heady with a cold *sniff* and tanked up on coool American over the counter drugs… Alllllriggggght.
See ya next week!
