I find it wild that I have been so irregular (comparitively) at posting this week, and me on holiday and all! I think I am still a bit out of sorts with this flu and while I had a burst of energy mid week I have been taking it easy again as the weekend approached.

The thing with taking it easy is that there is less than usual to post about. I have hardly seen the Count (towelled or otherwise) amd actually it has got a bit weird here and we barely seem to be speaking… I know that this is beyond normal male communication handicap… one of his mates was here during the week and we chatted just fine, though briefly. the Count really just seems to have nothing to say.

I have spent the last 3 nights babysitting for a family who have been in Manly at a conference and I have been keeping the sofa in their hotel warm while the baby slept. It has paid rather good money and though the nights have been really late (yawn) I am going back tonight for another round. Thank goodness for my dvd rom drive, there has been nothing on tv and I have worn out the carpet at the video store getting stuff to keep me occupied!!

I have decided on a change of name for the blog, it’s a new year, and a change is a good thing, I can’t quite bring myself to change the colour scheme yet. I think the blue is quite restful…

Or something.

    Name duly updated!

I look your bubbles; it’s like diving into a nice cool pool.

    Thanks for the warning Jack…

Smudgie, If I were over there I would be wanting to go down to Shanklin Chine for tea and scones and a nice walk with you rather than baby sitting…

Still… baby sitting would be fun too, I think Smudgelet and Tiddles and I could get into all sorts of mischief…

Ian… Hmmm about the colour scheme … Maybe you are right… could be a subconscious thing…

I’d be wary of babysitting the Smudgelets if I were you – you might get roped into the ironing whilst you’re there!

Why oh why don’t you live near enough to babysit the Smudgelets? Mind you, the pay’s not that good, but the chocolate’s tasty :D

    [cheeky]

Does the blue water droplet background remind you of the just-out-of-the-shower Count and his towel? ;-)

Nice new name. God bless you in 2005!
