The Bigger than Big Thing?
Is Over and Out.
I believe it can be called a success.
I am feeling the pain of it… when you have spent 3 nights walking a solid concrete floor in cheap boots and holding a fairly heavy camera up to your eye, the eye you keep open while the other is firmly closed, you’d have to expect your body not to forgive you immediately… and so my left eye (the one kept closed) feels wonky, my face aches from squinting for 3 nights and my shoulders and neck are anxious for a massage…
I have 8 cds worth of photos to show for my trouble though, some of which will appear in New Life newspaper but most of which will be relegated to the website or the rchives,.
And tomorrow I have to be at a wedding at 11.
I thought on the way to the Big Thing today that I spend my time wishing my life away, looking forward until the next event is over.
Today I feel like something has to change.
But I have no idea what it is.

I agree, it’s hard to remember that life is where you are now. Specially when there’s good things to look forward to and not so good things to put behind you as soon as possible.
I guess it’s pretty much impossible not to still do that, but by God’s grace we should be salt and light wherever we are – it’s often the small things that make the big things more worthwhile looking forward to.
Thanks for the reminder!
