Actually, it isn’t the question. The Question is What is LOMO.
A LOMO is indeed as Ian has found, a cult camera. Actually a cheap Russian made camera that has developed a cult following.
There is a society dedicated to LOMO which lists a number of rules to belong to the Lomographic Society, a loose collection of LOMO and toy camera shooters dedicated to spontaneous and fun picture taking.
On film, of all things!!
I KNOW…

Above is a link to read all about the lomographic society.
Here’s a link to the site I found wherein you can get details on how to make your pix look LOMO.
I’m thinking of sussing out freecycle to see if anyone has a LOMO camera lying around the house… just to have a fiddle around for myself!!

This new addition to our household is a simple, common or garden variety 4 burner bbq. The like of which you see everywhere… and actually often on the side of the road for council pickup (to the delight of kerb-surfers all over New South Wales – seriously, a car slowed down to peruse mine. If I’d been slower to get back to it from the alley to my house I’m sure it would have been history!) . They’re a dime a dozen.
