- I realise from Red’s comments that I didn’t clearly explain the conversation with Pia. She was referring to the week I kind of didn’t post at all rather than the content of interest in the posts in question … I noticed once I had actually posted the entry that I had posted every day this week!!!! I think I’m in a time warp… anyway… fished me a good compliment though! Thanks Red!
- Bliss is visiting Sydney for a week and hung out this evening for dinner… felt like she never left!!! She has marvellous news too!!! She has bought a house! A definite advertisement for moving up north.
The process elicited a lot of stepping outside her comfort zone and the acquisition of research and negotiation skills she hadn’t ever really wanted to acquire… but the results speak for themselves!!! Bliss has a mortgage and a 3 bedroom house on 550sqm of land. Happily, I get go go up and install her tv/video/dvd and soundsystem… can’t wait…
- I had a business meeting with Clown today. He has some writing work he needs done for some in-house publications, he does the design for. He has offered it to me and I am looking forward to getting my teeth into something a bit new!! (Not to mention, something that pays better than babysitting…)
- I went to a babyshower tonight … you may read about my feelings on baby showers here and be concerned for the mum2b for having invited me… but this was my kind of baby shower… just a low key, coffee and dessert type of baby shower (at a restauraunt no less)with no silly games… Just an excuse for the girls to get together! Now the count down is really on for Miss Shelf who has 3 weeks to go before her first son arrives to join his two older sisters…
