You may, or may not, remember YGM2 and the well done steak… tonight was dinner with Bet, Flick and Flash at R&R and I had me some of the best steak ever… done medium rare… Butter wouldn’t have melted sooner in my mouth.
So, thanks to the South Africans who learnt to cook on the brais and could you pop out the back and teach the lads downstairs a thing or two about cooking meat on a barbie…
All of a sudden I have an overwhelming urge to have steak for dinner. Medium rare, of course – it’s the only way.
Well done! Yes, well done! In fact, if I could have it overdone I would. (I’m not much for understated when it comes to chowing cow. No pink in there for me, thanks!)
