I am jealous of Fi at the moment who is living a girls dream of a house to herself and slew of chick flicks to churn through.
Me? I have watched Changing Lanes last night at a girlfriend’s place because the girls were all chick flicked out and now? Now I am sitting with Flick in front of The Chronicles of Riddick.
This is not my kind of movie.
No Sir.
I would go to bed but the circus down below us is proving rather loud. Yep, you heard me right… the circus. Not a animalian cirucus. A human one, that has a big top with lots of bright lights. And loud music. Andrea and Sarah singing “Time to Say Goodbye” is entertaining the whole of Manly as I write…
Anyway, I spent the morning having breakfast at Deck 23, and then went to Ikea.
I Ikea. Cheap candles and the promise of a new desk, once I have tidied my room.
Now… that’s an incentive to make space and clear out the historical costumes from the tip that is my room…

so, as a member of the IKEA addicts connect group, does this mean I can hire a bus and we can have an outing once a month?

I love Anne of Green Gables. I’ve been to Prince Edward Island and I’ve been to "Green Gables" It’s very beautiful. I have the whole series of books. And I cry EVERY SINGLE time I watch the movies.

I used to adore the Little House on the Prairie books…
They were so much better than the telly series!

When in Primary School, I ordered a few of those books through some scheme at the time where each month (week?) you got a selection of books you could buy. I enjoyed reading them. Thanks to my parents for shelling out for all of the books I bought!
It’s great to return to fondly remember books from one’s childhood.
