Game On

June 29, 2005 by

Remember the bad sad days of playing Romme with Tin?
They’re over. “w00t!” (letting out my inner geek).
The three of us hadn’t arranged a game after the last one. None of us wanted to brave Tin and tell her we didn’t want her to play and neither did we want to arrange a game without her and have her find out.
Well, Bet bumped into her.
It did not go well. It all appeared friendly but undertones were not.
Tin was irked that we hadn’t contacted her, yet had not felt as though she should have felt compelled to touch base with us. She had also set up a game with someone who lived in her building.
I emailed her to say Hi, tell her we hadn’t played in a while, wish her luck with the new job she had told Bet about. I also told her we had been busy, that Bet was leaving to go back to Europe and that the game was under review.
No reply.
None.
She is likely to be moving to Qld so the issue is resolved once she is gone.
So we played tonight with Flick.
And it was GREAT.
