It Should Be Noted …

September 27, 2005 by

Many of you may have heard me mention Pia before, she is a very welcome lurker at Singular Scene …
I was on the receiving end of a bit of a stern talking to from her this afternoon because in yesterday’s entry I alluded to lunch without giving Pia her proper respect.
Let me refresh your memory.

3. Lunch
[end excerpt]
… The element that I neglected to mention was that lunch was actually made by Pia’s own fair hands and served up in the company of a group of rather sensational girls. Barbeque Chicken with salad and potatoes and Michel’s Lemon Tart for dessert… Entirely deelishus.
So, behind every entry there could be any number of other stories but I’ll leave those to your imagination!! I mean, how many stories can there be behind “Hoovering”?
Anyway… thank you Pia not only for the great lunch and the great company but also for the great attention you give to my world by reading the drivel I write … but best of all for praying when the going is tough… You’re a real hero.

Does Pia’s Lunch Catering Service deliver from Sydney to Baltimore, by any chance?
    No?
    Oh, man. I’m hungry.

Is that a Michel’s as in Michel’s Patisserie? Guess what! They’re arrived in NZ! One’s going in up at the mall.
    Any recommendations?

Michel’s is where I stop for coffee every morning but I am dilligent about avoiding their patisserie products… for upholstery reasons!
Now, the coffee is grand because of the barista at my local establishment, so there’s no guarantee that such things translate across the Tasman… all the same, I have partaken of their Portugese tarts, and their Lemon Tart obviously, and both are rather good!!! And, of course, their chocolate mud cake…
    Mmmmmmm

*waves to Pia, just in case she’s hovering*

    *And that’s "hovering", not "hoovering"*
