Boy Oh Boy… I got brave this morning…
I have been going around telling my friends that I’ve had a novel idea about a novel for the last month.
I lied. Actually it’s been about 5 years and in the last month it has actually begun to crystalise into something that could turn out to be quite interesting…
The thing is, I don’t actually know how to start, and as I have been aware that November was creeping up I decided that the best way to start is actually to just get on with it… So… I signed up for NaNoWriMo where the expectation is simply that you’ll write… it doesn’t have to be that great…
I can live with that… and at least I’ll get this thing out of me before it kills me.
Ooh, ooh! I might actually have the time to do it this year…but will I?
And congrats on the new nephew :)

I signed up for that nano-thingo too, sort of because I had an idea, and partly because it sounded like fun.
