I have to confess that the sole reason for this post is to have a reason to write the word ‘nutjobbery’ because it tickles me rather uproariously… As there is clearly not a speck of ‘nutjobbery’ about me [ooh look… there it is again!] it seems only fitting that I apply the term endearingly to my everloving little nemesis…
I feel as though it is safe to do this because there are apparently no more entertaining things in his world than…
- Empty Toilet Rolls
- Knotted Ribbons
- Tunnel shaped card board boxes
- Rubbish bins, preferably bathroom ones which make lots of noise on tiled floors and which, incidentally, usually have the most interesting contents which may be spread artfully on said tiled floors.
- Candlewicked bathmats
- Screen Doors
- Hanging towels
- Bare toes [human]
- Full toilet rolls still in their packet
- Open cupboard doors
- One’s own tail
- Thin air
Apparently [and happily], things like goldfish are outré with the feline set these days.

One’s own tail is the best fun. The thrill of the chase and the surprise when it’s caught!

As T&E has said, our kitts live by the ‘Everything is a cat toy’ motto.
As far as they are concerned, if it were not for their entertainment, why else would it exist?

Our cat was going after the ducks in the bath last night from a precarious position seated on the side. It was less than relaxing, since he was struggling not to fall in

When he decides he likes fish, the photos will be worth the wait.

"TOYS! the whole WORLD is a TOY!!!!" was our kitten’s motto, when she was a kitten. come to think of it, as she is approaching her 3rd birthday, not much has changed.

Everything in our house is a cat toy, including us. Cork boards, magazines, newspapers, books, cd’s etc

Well, at the moment we don’t have a toilet roll holder at all… So the rolls sit out of reach on the towel rail… I’ve half a mind to leave it that way to reduce wastage…

How about toilet rolls still on holder with ends hanging down to be in reach? Our ten year old cats still play with that. or perhps they are just trying to create an empty toilet roll to play with. Whatever. The result is metre upon metre of paper across the floor.
