Fusspot

July 25, 2010 by

I just didn’t know how fussy I was until I couldn’t find EXACTLY the right dinner set. I’ve been looking for months, it didn’t seemed like a difficult proposition. I was in the market for a plain, white, 16 piece dinner set. I mean, how hard can it be?

But once you start looking there are variables to consider…

Stoneware or Fine Bone China? (China).

Mugs or Cups and Saucers? (Mugs – but the RIGHT ones)

Plates, with rim or without? (With is OK)

Bowls- with rim or without? (Without, thanks.)

Square or Round? (Round).

Price. Right.

I found it today at Myer.

Thank goodness.

Of course, it was the last one in the store… seems probable I’m not the only fussy one…

Looks lovely. And given only one was left in stock it is clear you are surrounded by other persons of impeccable taste. :)

amazing isn’t it – that’s why we had to go separates on our bridal list because none of the maxwell and williams box sets had the right combinations … usually the bowls or the cups/mugs were wrong! Still, satisfied with what we decided on – nice to look in the cupboard and see it all there, just being RIGHT eh :)

Yep – awesome! Now I’ve got to try and find a 2nd box… that could be tricky…

I like!!! Great classic and classy choice :)

This reminds me … I need new dinnerware too! But I think I want funky square. :)
